Nuget for a small team

We have 3 guys all using a large solution in TFS

I added a couple Nuget packages to one of the projects and it then download the files to the project and added the packages.config, and put the files in the /<solution>/packages folder (worked great)

However when the other guys get latest, it just shows the references missing with the yellow warning flag on them.

Is there something I should be doing differently so we can all use the same nuget files without me needing to tell them to "go update\install x"?

Either EnablePackageRestore or check in the packages folder.

What did you do before you used nuget when you added references to external packages?

Hey, thanks for the reply

What we used to do is put a solution folder and add the assemblies into it, then all the projects reference the assemblies

I just turned on Package Restore, we'll see how that goes, thanks :)

I think you will enjoy Package Restore more... if it is business critical consider the extra safety of copying the packages over to an internal server or using something like MyGet.

Otherwise you can always check in the packages folder (which seems to be the same as you did previously by putting assemblies into a solution folder).
