Project Type and Adding projects

I'd like to build some packages that could help myself and others quickly compose apps... and had a couple questions I wasnt able to find the answers to.

1) Should I be able to add a project? Eg, if I go Install-Package n-tier, could I have it create a couple projects and add references to them from the first?

2) when installing a package, is there anyway to do a check to make sure we're installing into a mvc 3 project (other wise plopping a bunch of .cshtml isnt going to make a crapload of sense.

I appreciate the time and information

NuGet itself doesn't have first class support for those scenarios. However, by supporting PowerShell code, a lot of things can be achieved (e.g. in install.ps1).

However, I might question whether creating multiple projects as a result of installing a package is a good direction for NuGet. VS does support project templates in their online gallery, and they may be a closer fit for the scenario.
