Packages not showing in NuGet Server

Feb 8, 2011 at 7:12 PM

I can't see my packages when I browse the server on my local machine:

  1. I created an IIS Express application and pointed it to the to server folder from the downloaded source.
  2. I build the server.
  3. I added nunit to another project in VS 2010.
  4. I copied the NUnit folder to the \Packages folder of the server.
  5. I started the IISExpress instance and when using View Sites - Browse Application the NuGet MVC site comes up.
  6. When select packages I get an XML document that contains no packages.

Thanks,

Van

I made the same mistake as well.  The link in that page points you to odata/v1 and all that returns in a pointer essentially to where you can query packages.

Try navigating to /odata/v1/Packages and you should see your packages.

We actually have a nuget server package on the feed now that can be added to any existing web app to host a nuget feed.

Thank you for the replies!

I examined the source which led to the WCF Data Service and an exploration of OData.  Very interesting.  So I tried browsing inside of VS 2010.  I can see the package from the IIS Express Service from the Add Library Reference dialog but when I try to install I get an error that it can't find the package.  Any ideas?

Thanks,

Van
