Add-Package -Source

Didn't Add-Package used to have a -Source parameter? Was it removed intentionally?

Is it for Install-Package or Add-Package? Maybe it was gone when we merge the concept of Install-Package and Add-Package.

Yeah, I think it was for Install-Package, because it wouldn't have applied to Add-Package back then.

Yea I removed it :) recently (like 2 checkins ago) reason being that the source repository can't be changed after a package manager is created. So in Vs we have a repository that knows about the active feed instead of creating a new package manager everytime we change the source. We could put it back and override the DefaultSource when it is specified. Thoughts?

Implementation details aside, I think it's an important feature.  Without it, you can't easily write a .ps1 script that installs a bunch of packages from specific sources.

I see because we removed update source.
