Package Manager Console hangs when a cmdlet or executable prompts for info

description

Calling a cmdlet or executable that prompts for user for input (user id, password, confirmation, etc ...) hangs the Package Manager Console and you have to restart VS.

I tried with many examples.

The simplest way to reproduce the problem is to create a Console Application that calls "Console.ReadLine()" and execute it from the Package Manager Console Window.
   class Program {
        static void Main(string[] args) {
            Console.ReadLine();
        }
    }

I seem to be having the same issue with Visual Studio 2013.
