Using the Add Package Reference menu item from the Solution Navigator crashes Visual Studio

  1. Install the Productivity Power Tools (http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/d0d33361-18e2-46c0-8ff2-4adea1e34fef) if not installed
  2. Open Visual Studio directly (not opening a solution or project)
  3. Close the Solution Explorer
  4. Open the Solution Navigator (from the Power Tools)
  5. Open an existing solution
  6. In the Solution Navigator, expand a project
  7. Right click the ‘References’ node
  8. Click ‘Add Package Reference’ menu item
Expected: the Package Manager UI is displaued
Actual: Visual Studio crashes

Verified on VS 2010 Ultimate,

Verified that user can Install and Uninstall packages when only using Solution Navigator.

Just to be clear, VS isn't crashing for me though, it's just that I'm getting an error message and the dialog isn't opening.

Hi Dave, I noticed in that thread your issue is solved with the latest not-yet released version of NuGet so I'll leave this closed.
