Publishing failed using NuGet Package Explorer

Hello,

From the file menu, publish, I entered my api-key and pressed Publish button. A progress bar shows for a few seconds then I get the following error message.

Unable to process request. The specified API key does not provide authority to push packages. The remote server returned an error:(403) Forbidden.

What do I need to do to publish?

Thanks,
Kevin

This message indicates you are not the owner of the package id.

What package id are you pushing? Are you the owner of it?

Thanks for the reply. I created a new package (this is my first package) from a class project which I am the owner. I am not sure about the package id outher then under package metadata I see one field called ID which is appears the default value is MyPackage, I have not changed this.

Okay, I believe my issue was ignorance of sorts (not reading enough of the docs). I changed the ID to the actual package base name and it pubished just fine now.
