Yesterday I followed the instructions at http://docs.nuget.org/docs/contribute/Setting-up-the-NuGet-Development-Environment

  1. I forked the source into http://nuget.codeplex.com/SourceControl/network/forks/adamralph/nuget
  2. I cloned my fork locally
  3. I installed the VS2012 SDK
  4. I ran build.cmd from a VS cmd prompt

I get lots of code analysis errors and the build fails. I've uploaded the build log to https://gist.github.com/4545935. If I'm not mistaken they are all CA1704.

Am I doing something wrong?

I think it may be something to do with locale, since I also get a warning for 'color'.

My OS is set to en-GB locale, which would be 'colour'.

I managed to get build.cmd to succeed by adding the required recognized words to the custom dictionary. I've opened a pull request http://nuget.codeplex.com/SourceControl/network/forks/adamralph/nuget/contribution/3930
