Transfer ownership

How do I transfer ownership of some packages that I created to the actual project owners?

Just go under 'Manage Owners' and add their user names. There can be multiple owners.

"Manage Owners" on the website, or in the Package Explorer? I don't see "Manage Owners" in either.  If I just add the owner's name in the Owners field in the Package Explorer, will they be able to edit the package?

Go to, click on the specific package, and click on the 'Manage Owners' link in the left pane.

I don't have that.   I have...

To edit the metadata for a package, please upload an updated version of the package.

NuGet currently does not allow updating package metadata on the website. This helps ensure that the package itself (and the source used to build the package) remains the one true source of package metadata.

This does require that you increment the package version.

I just published a new version. I'll wait for caches to clear and try again.

That's because you clicked on the Edit Package link. Click on the 'Manage Owners' link just below it.
