NuGet Publish Stopped Working

Mar 13, 2012 at 2:56 PM

I've been using an older version of NuGet.exe for awhile and have been publishing fine.  Yesterday, I updated to the latest version (NuGet Version: 1.6.21205.9031) and the publish stopped working.

Here are the results from running on the two different versions:

Version: NuGet Version: 1.5.21005.9019

nuget.exe push C:/projects/SomeProject/artifacts/SomeProject.nupkg -s http://someserver:8000 [my api key]

Output:

Pushing SomeProject 0.0.3 to 'http://someserver:8000'...

Publishing SomeProject 0.0.3 to 'http://someserver:8000'...

Your package was published.

Version: NuGet Version: 1.6.21205.9031

nuget.exe push C:/projects/SomeProject/artifacts/SomeProject.nupkg -s http://someserver:8000 [my api key]

Output:

Pushing SomeProject 0.0.3 to 'http://someserver:8000'...

Failed to process request. 'Not Found'.

The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found..

It's an HTTP PUT now. Check with fiddler and post the relevant items back here

@Derekgreer, are you using NuGet.Server for the feed? If so, are you using the latest version? NuGet 1.6 made some changes to how it calls the API, and older version of NuGet.Server I don't think support them.

Yeah, I'm sure that's it.  I'm still running an older version of NuGet.Server.  Thanks.
