NuGet does not prompt for credentials for package source hosted in web server

I built the NuGet Server and published it on the web server of my company. I configured IIS as it should to make the site available internally to my company.

When I try to connect to the website using IE, everything goes fine, I am being prompted and the main page displays. But when I add the package source to Visual Studio, NuGet never prompts for credential and returns this error: "The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized". This seems to be logical to me as the client does not ask to enter credentials. Also my current user is logged on the same domain as the web server.

Is there any known solution to this issue?

Are you using the current NuGet 1.4? We will fix this in 1.5

Yes I am using 1.4. I am happy to hear that it is being fixed in next release.

Is there already a date planned for 1.5 release?

I do not see any issue logged for this under NuGet Server in the issue tracker.
