Hi,

does anyone successful deploy nuget server web app to IIS6.0/5.0?

I have awful problems with that - I try to deploy it on win2003  in virtual directory  (http://<our server>/nuget

Main page shows ok but when i try to click to view packages I receive 404 pago not found.

I registered .nupkg in mime types, changed storage folder and added that folder as parameter and changed PackageUtility as someone suggested and it still doesn't work - same thing in my local iis 5.0 on win XP.

If anyone runt it succesfuly on IIS6.0/5.0 can you please give some tips how to do it?

Best regards

The doesn't work  /nuget works because you'd need to setup extensionless routing  on iis6 (not sure about 5) and afaik, to do extensionless routing you need to map all requests to aspnet_isapi.dll (http://haacked.com/archive/2008/11/26/asp.net-mvc-on-iis-6-walkthrough.aspx or use some other hacks). As an alternative, you can use the /DataServices/Packages.svc/ url to get to the feed.

Hope that helps

For extensionless URLs on IIS 6 and ASP.NET 4, read my later blog post: http://haacked.com/archive/2010/12/22/asp-net-mvc-3-extensionless-urls-on-iis-6.aspx
