Empty Mvc 3 project (template) seems to depend on NuGet. If I don't have NuGet on my machine, I'm unable to create an empty Mvc 3 project. What would I have to do to stop NuGet from interfering in Mvc 3 project creation?

The MVC 3 Tools Update requires Nuget. Is there a reason why you want to uninstall it?

This space is too small to list reasons against NuGet.

Is there a way of using the new UI and templates without NuGet?

Nuget is required for the MVC 3 Tools Update and unfortunately there is no way around that (other than reverting back to the RTM version of MVC 3). We will revisit this in MVC 4.

It would be an excellent idea not to impose NuGet on developers. A developer should have the freedom of choice.

When will Mvc 4 see the light of day?
