Missing feature: Download package source code

Hi,

I think one feature is missing: this is what Maven and RubyGems are already doing and what would be very cool addition.

This feature is downloading the source of the package, like that you could debug into it, or even customize it for your needs.

I think it is really what will open even more the way NuGet is helping us, and that pleasant feeling when you can see the source, debug into it without any problems would be also good.

P.S. Another one would be creating a repository locally and not downloading something that you already have locally, but this one is optional.

Please have a look at http://www.symbolsource.org. We are trying to
solve this exact issue, but with a more general solution - the
existing Visual Studio support for symbol and source servers.

Cheers,

We already support this feature. You can open the Tools - Options - Package Manager page and add your local repository. It will then appear in both the console and the Add Package Reference dialog (in the Online tab). Your local repository can be any local or UNC folder which contains .nupkg files.
