NuGet.exe Configuration Story

I'm playing with NuGet.exe in an attempt to facilitate the traditional package management story of build-time retrieval of dependencies.  I realize the NuGet project is primarily focused on scaffolding, but the addition of the command line tool's install abilities begins to address the more traditional package management scenario popularized by Ant/NAnt/Maven of retrieving dependencies at build time.

It looks like this can be partly achieved, but I haven't discovered how to go about configuring the NuGet.exe to retrieve from a prioritized list of feeds.  I'm assuming the Visual Studio integration portion stores alternate feeds in the registry or perhaps some central config file, but there really needs to be a local config file that can be checked in with the project.  Is there currently anything like this?
