Package manager intellisense

Jan 22, 2011 at 11:28 PM

im running nuget under  a fresh clean install of vs2010 and i am not getting the intellisense prompting at the package manager prompt

at the powershell command line in the console is this a bug or was this removed from the rtm version of nuget i saw it working in the scott hanselman talk at pdc

and its showing in the demo video on the front page of the codeplex site

is there something that needs to be turned on in options for this or should this activated by default

Can you be very specific? What commands are you trying to get intellisense for? What did you type to see this behavior?

What version do you have installed (type $host.Version)?

If you type Install{hit tab} does anything come up?

the version

Major  Minor  Build  Revision
-----  -----  -----  --------
1      0      11220  104

the tab key does invoke the auto complete for Install-Package and the intellisense features

So what were you having trouble with?

im used to normal c# intellisense where i pops up automatically never realized you need to to hit a hot key to activate it in the package manager thanks for pointing that out thx =)

I can see the confusion. It's more like a console than a C# file.
