Hi,

I tried to install NuGet and get this error:

Any ideas of what should I do in order to make it work? BTW, I have PowerShell 2.0 installed.

Thanks

Try deleting the folder named “Outercurve Foundation” located under %PROGRAMFILES%\ Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions” or (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft V…) and re-install NuGet.

Ok. So, here what I did: I didn't find a folder named “Outercurve Foundation”. But I did find one named "CodePlex Foundation". After I deleted that folder was I able to install NuGet but either context menu entry nor the console window was being shown. I was even able to install it more than once but unable to uninstall it. So, I decided to restore "CodePlex Foundation" folder and than the context menu entry showed up but I got an error trying to access the console window. Here's the error message:

No valid exports were found that match the constraint '((exportDefinition.ContractName == "NuGetConsole.IPowerConsoleWindow") AndAlso (exportDefinition.Metadata.ContainsKey("ExportTypeIdentity") AndAlso "NuGetConsole.IPowerConsoleWindow".Equals(exportDefinition.Metadata.get_Item("ExportTypeIdentity"))))', invalid exports may have been rejected.

Thanks,

Allan

Not sure what I did. But, the problem is solved. Forget this thread.
